Exchange
Polyphonik is a artistical and social exchange between Benin and Germany, an intercultural dance-theatre-project about migration. In the forms of dance and theatre and with multimedia-based techniques different lifesituations of westafrican people in Berlin and Cotonou will be focused. Polyphonik A cooperation between actors, directors, theatre-pedagogues and dancers from Benin and Germany are developing together with african migrants in Berlin and young people in Cotonou two interconnected productions. Realities of migration Dance and theatre are used as a language, the body as a means of expression, because it provides acces to layers of experiences which in verbal communication are often hard to define This will lead to a presentation of invisible realities of migration. Objectives Polyphonik shall activate new forms of intercultural communication and dialogue. Polyphonik wants to explore new ways of intermediation of life-realities between Berlin and Cotonou, Germany and Benin, Europe and Africa. Polyphonik can create forms of communication and exchange of information on the artificial level of dance and theatre. |
